Opex's AS3600i is a highspeed color scanner equipped with a unique drop feeder, which operates as part of an Opex Rapid Extraction Desk for quick and easy mail handling. Designed to provide image capture for a variety of mail, the AS3600i processes clean payments, exception mail and full-sized documents. This system eliminates the time and labor required to batch, prep and scan, offering additional cost saving advantages.The AS3600i is intended for remittance, imaging and data capture applications. Only one operator is required to open and capture all kinds of transaction types at top speed, including checks, remittance advice, envelopes, correspondence, lists, claims forms, COA, return mail, priority mail and other exception types. Separator sheets are not required, so the operator can effortlessly drop and scan documents for smooth processing.

Check Scanner - BAP HS3000

BAP HS 3000D

With the HS 3000D, BAP Image Systems presents a color scanner that can be used as a check image capture system and is unique with respect to speed, resolution and flexibility. The HS 3000D is suited to rapidly capture large numbers of images. Its open paper path ensures operator ease and efficiency, and its ability to scan documents of varied sizes in a single scan contributes to throughput efficiency.

The simultaneous capture of both sides of the document (duplex-scan) provides multiple images from a single scan. Users can take advantage of the following document and check imaging technology features:

  • Bitonal image from digital filtering (binary image with TIFF format) of the front and back sides of the document to facilitate character recognition (OCR / ICR).
  • Color images (or grayscale) of front and back side for authentic archiving in JPEG or JPEG2000 format.
  • Color snippet images compressed or uncompressed.

The HS 3000D allows the user to simultaneously obtain all required information for further use and archiving, ensuring exceptionally high throughput. Its low noise level makes it ideally suited for the office environment and gives the system a competitive advantage.
