Conversion & Migration Process
- You send us a sample of the documents, checks, reports or data you want processed and an approximate volume count.
- At no cost to you, we process the sample and return it to you along with an estimated cost to complete the services.
- You approve on the sample and send us the content for conversion. You can either send us the media that contains the content, or copy the content to a portable hard drive that we supply and you return to us.
- We complete the job and after a rigorous quality assurance process, provide you with one of the four following archival/retrieval options:
- The images and indexes are placed in files with a naming convention that allows them to be easily imported into your new system. Users can then access all images and reports, old and new, from the new system.
- We will load the content to a new archive using storage technology such as RAID coupled with search and retrieval software. This system is then shipped to you to be placed on your LAN, and users can access the content using network or web-based workstations.
- We will load content on new media as in (b) above, and we will host it at our site in an ASP environment with your users accessing content via web-connectivity.
- We will load the content on individual digital media such as CDs or DVDs along with retrieval software so that each media is a self-contained archive. The media is then shipped to you.
