Check Scanners-Readers

Panini My VisionX
The My Vision X is a small, high performance check scanner offering the ultimate solution for check processing. This check reader, solely developed and manufactured by Panini, is characterized by a small footprint which allows for its dual use at both the branch teller counter and back office environment. Modern, ergonomic design and noiseless operation makes this Panini scanner one of the best image capture devices currently available in the market. My Vision X defines a new class of check scanner devices and opens a fresh perspective to the concept of distributed image capture.
The My Vision X check scanner features a large auto feeder with two different feed modes. The first feed mode gives the ability to drop up to 25 checks into the device with one hand. The second feed mode is designed for batch feeding, characterized by moving the pressure plate back, which can accommodate up to 100 checks; MICR PlusTM, Panini's new MICR reading technology; superior image quality capturing both the front and the rear of the check at 100 or 200 dpi, bitonal or grayscale, single line rear ink-jet endorsement, and an exit pocket capable of holding up to 100 checks.

Canon CR-55
The Canon CR-55 is an ultra-compact front counter check-scanner that captures MICR data with images of the front and back of checks at speeds of up to 55 checks per minute. Loaded with advanced back-office functionality, this check scanner rapidly delivers Canon's proven high image quality and superior document handling for faster, more efficient check processing and electronic image exchange at the first point of presentation.
The CR-55 check scanner offers rapid double-sided batch scanning by feeding batches of up to 50 items at a time and capturing MICR data along with images of both sides of each check at a rate of 55 checks per minute (US checks, 200 dpi, B&W or grayscale).

Canon CR-180
The CR-180 is a compact check scanner that scans both sides of 180 checks per minute, and has ability to read the MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) characters on checks using its built-in magnetic head. Along with Canon's industry-wide reputation in document feeding performance and image quality, the CR-180 is one of the fastest check scanners in its class.

CTS - LS515
The LS 515 is a peripheral suite to handle various types of banking documents. This proficient check scanner is ideal for middle-office branch use, teller or back-office applications.
The LS 515 can read MICR (CMC7/E13B) code lines, OCR code lines and barcode, and scan both sides of the document capturing up to four images in a single pass: front and back "brutto" (neutral images) + front and back "netto" (red dropout images for OCR/ICR machine and hand print decoding requirements). Optional functions include document stamping (front and back roller stamps) and variable endorsing by inkjet printer.
The document is driven through a "U" path: code line reading is done initially, then on the outgoing portion the unit will stamp, print and scan the document. The LS 515 has two programmable sorting bins and connection to the system is by a fast USB 2.0 interface or optionally by SCSI 2.
